Weekend evening in Pleiku and no plan? You can sit in a cinema, take the kids to a play centre, or round up friends for karaoke. We recommend one place for each.
Watching a film: Touch Cinema
Touch Cinema is on Nguyễn Tất Thành street, with four screens, 550 seats in all and big curved screens. Each screen is between 300 and 700 inches wide, and the sound system is Dolby Digital. The provincial tourism directory also lists Starlight cinema, on the fifth floor of the Kim Center building at 53 Quang Trung.
Touch Cinema

For a comfortable screen for the whole group, Touch Cinema is the easy choice: airy, with soft seats, and fair prices for tickets and popcorn-and-drink combos. The counter sells more than popcorn and soft drinks. It can be busy, but staff stay attentive, and with kids you will find a big children’s play area.

Ticket prices and online booking
The base price list for 2D, 3D and holiday screenings is posted only as an image on the cinema’s ticket-price page, so this page gives no base figure; open it before you go. The extra charges and special groups below are from the cinema’s price page as seen in October 2026.
| Case | Rule on the price page |
|---|---|
| No membership card, or an early, special or sneak-preview screening | 10,000 VND extra per standard seat, 20,000 VND per couple seat |
| School pupils | School-pupil price for anyone aged 18 or under |
| University students | Student price when you show a student card at the counter |

To book online, open the website or the Touch Cinema app, pick the film, the showing and your seats, then confirm. Online tickets are charged at the adult price, so buy student or disability tickets at the counter. To get member prices online, the phone number on your account must match the one registered for the card. Showings change with each film, so check the current times on the cinema’s showtimes page.
Which film suits which age: the P, K, T13, T16, T18 labels
Every film shown in a Pleiku cinema must carry an age rating, in force since 20 May 2023. With children, read the label before you buy; it decides whether they can go in.
P: all ages. K: under 13 only with a parent or guardian. T13, T16, T18: viewers aged 13, 16 or 18 and over.
Before the film starts the cinema shows a warning in writing or in speech, and Touch Cinema may refuse to sell a ticket or let you in if you do not meet the film’s age. With teenagers in the group, bring ID with a date of birth for a T16 or T18 film so you are not turned away at the counter.
Kids’ play centre: Happy Kids
Happy Kids has soft play for tiny children and active play for older ones.
Happy Kids Gia Lai

The play area is large, with plenty of room to run around. The ground floor adds water games, prices are friendly, and the staff are friendly enough that one parent felt at ease leaving a child to play for a while.
Two things to plan for. It gets crowded and noisy at times, with too few seats for adults, so at weekends bring patience. Parking also fills up and cars spill onto the street; one parent parks below at Diên Hồng park and walks the kids up.

Karaoke: Tigon for the evening
For a singing room with good sound, Karaoke Tigon is the pick: a guest praised the sound and the space.
Karaoke Tigon

Reviews praise friendly, helpful staff and a very good space, though only a few carry text, so take it as a handful of opinions. As at any karaoke place, ask for the room rate per hour and each item’s price before you order.
