Where to stay in Pleiku: four areas, nine places
Pick your Pleiku area first: the city centre, Biển Hồ Lake, the airport or the bus station. Nine hotels and homestays, with prices per night in VND.

On a first visit, stay around Great Unity Square (Đại Đoàn Kết): rooms cost 516,000–919,000 VND a night (October 2026) and sit 120–620 m from the square. For quiet near Biển Hồ Lake it is 567,000–675,000 VND; right by the airport 410,000–469,000 VND; near the Đức Long bus station 314,000–492,000 VND.

Look at the map before you look at prices. Whether you are heading for Biển Hồ Lake, an early flight or a night coach decides which part of Pleiku suits you; the room comes second. Below are four areas, each with a few places picked for price, parking and what guests keep saying.
Four areas: choose the area first, the room second
On a first visit, stay around Great Unity Square (Đại Đoàn Kết), right in the middle of the city. Minh Thành Pagoda is about 2 km away; Biển Hồ Lake is the one place that takes real travel time, about 7 km north.
| Area | Good for | Distance | Price per night |
|---|---|---|---|
| Around Great Unity Square | First visit, walking to food and cafés | 120–620 m to the square | 516,000–919,000 VND |

Prices from October 2026 are starting rates, so what you pay can differ, especially on holidays.
Local tip: Still planning? The Pleiku itinerary shows how to split your days between the lake, the pagoda and Plei Ốp village. Arriving by coach? See coaches to and from Pleiku. Flying? Start with the Pleiku airport guide.
Around Great Unity Square: walk everywhere
Here it comes down to a car park and a big buffet breakfast. We recommend Ngon Avatar for a compact, clean room next to the square, the Pleiku Hotel for a big car park with a pool and gym, and Pleiku & Em for a lower price and a good breakfast in an older room.
Ngon Avatar Luxury Boutique Hotel

This is a three-star hotel at 110 Lê Lợi, just 120 m from the square, so you step out of the door and you are there. Rooms start at 919,000 VND (October 2026) with parking and free breakfast.

Breakfast is a buffet on the roof terrace, where the air is cool and the setting pleasant, and there is a café on the ground floor so you do not have to go out for coffee. Parking space is plentiful; for an airport transfer, ask the hotel for a price before you book. Open in Maps

Good if you like walking around the square; rooms are fairly small and the shower is weak.
Khách sạn Pleiku (Pleiku Hotel)

The hotel is at 03 Nguyễn Tất Thành, about 300 m from the square. It now trades as Khách sạn HANZ at the same address. Rooms start at 516,000 VND (October 2026).

It sits on the main road by the square, so it feels open, and the car park is big. The grounds have an electric-car charging point. There is a pool, a gym, a children’s play area, a restaurant and a spa, and the breakfast buffet has plenty of choice in a dining room full of plants. Open in Maps

Families with a car and work groups will like the space; light sleepers won’t, since the sound insulation between rooms is weak.
Pleiku & Em Hotel

The hotel is at 86 Nguyễn Văn Trỗi, 620 m from the square, with rooms from 544,000 VND (October 2026) and parking. Booked through an online platform it is about 600,000 VND a night, breakfast included even on the 30 April holiday; booking direct, ask for the price first.

It is in the middle of town, so getting around is easy. Breakfast is on the eighth floor with a good view and fresh coffee, and there is room to park cars out front. Open in Maps

A good deal for a low price, breakfast and a central spot. It is dated though, with one lift, and a windowless room feels stuffy.
Near Biển Hồ Lake: a garden stay away from town
Our pick. Here, look first at Pleiku Adventures Homestay. Your host Brad is an Australian who lives in Pleiku and speaks English, and he can arrange cycling, a climb up a volcano and a coffee-making class. Rooms and booking are on the homestay page.
Out at Biển Hồ commune you wake up close to the lake, but you need a ride to town for dinner. It works better for groups and families than for solo travellers. We recommend Tiên Sơn for a bigger group wanting a pool and parking, and Upes for gardens and rice-field views.
Tiên Sơn Pleiku Homestay

The homestay is at 100 Đào Duy Từ in Biển Hồ commune. Rooms start at 675,000 VND (October 2026), with a pool, spa, parking and free breakfast.

The grounds are wide and green, with a pool and plenty of parking, and a lawn where children can run safely. Motorbikes are available for rent, and both the volcano and the lake are close. Open in Maps

Friends, families and colleagues get a campfire area and outdoor dining. Rain is the weak spot: some rooms smell damp and can leak, and the bathroom fittings are old with weak water pressure.
Upes Garden and Homestay

This is a farmstay on Lê Văn Sỹ street in Biển Hồ commune; the street leads on to a row of century-old pines and Bửu Minh Pagoda. Rooms start at 567,000 VND (October 2026).

The garden is pretty and looks out over rice fields, and the flowers are well kept. It stands among coffee plots, close to a suspension bridge and the old pines. The way in is not easy: two routes cross a cable-stayed bridge, the detour is narrow and bumpy, and a low car will struggle. Open in Maps
Best for quiet-seekers with a high car or a motorbike. If insects bother you, go elsewhere: mosquitoes when it rains, ants in rooms, and a room right by a tree trunk is best avoided. No lake view from here either.

Local tip: Set aside half a day for Biển Hồ Lake and the nearby Biển Hồ tea plantation, and plan dinner before you go.
Near the airport: quiet, with little traffic noise
This area is for early flights, or anyone who wants more trees than cafés. We recommend BAZAN to be as close to the airport as possible, and MoonLight for stylish decor a bit further out.
BAZAN HOME

A hotel with bungalows on Tôn Thất Thuyết street, 1.4 km from Pleiku airport. Rooms start at 410,000 VND (October 2026) and parking is available.

It is quiet, leafy and cool, run by a couple who welcome guests themselves, and the rooms are nice and clean. The airport is close, and the centre, Biển Hồ Lake and Minh Thành Pagoda are all easy to reach; the owners also rent motorbikes. Open in Maps

Business travellers and couples after quiet will like it; it is a small family-run home, not a big hotel.
MoonLight Homestay & Hotel

The homestay is at 441/7 Lý Thái Tổ, 2.1 km from the airport, with rooms from 469,000 VND (October 2026).

The decor is tasteful and warm, the rooms are clean and airy with lots of greenery, and there is easy parking. Check-in is from 2 pm, early check-in costs an extra 150,000 VND, and public holidays add 30%. Open in Maps

Couples and small families who like a garden will enjoy it. Early sleepers, beware: after 9 pm the shared dining area gets noisy, and some rooms have a window onto the shared walkway.
Near Đức Long bus station: step off the coach, find a bed
Arriving on a coach in the middle of the night? A room beside the station saves a long ride. Both places below are about half a kilometre from the station as the crow flies. We recommend Adalie for a newer hotel with a big car park, and Hoài Thương for the lowest price.
Adalie Pleiku Hotel

The hotel is at 51 Lý Nam Đế, on the same street as Đức Long bus station. Rooms start at 492,000 VND (October 2026), with parking.

It is a five-minute walk to the main bus station and about 20 minutes to the centre. Rooms are clean, new and modern, and the owner is helpful. There is plenty of car parking, early arrival and late check-out are accommodated, and there is a café on the ground floor. Open in Maps

Good for coach arrivals, business trips and car travellers. Check the hot water on arrival, and watch for ants.
Hoài Thương Hotel

A two-star hotel at 113 Trường Chinh, with rooms from 314,000 VND (October 2026). The cheapest room is 350,000 VND, with air conditioning and a fridge.

Rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The hotel is new and well placed, with very fast wifi, a hammock and good coffee. Open in Maps

A fine one-night stop on a tight budget, but the cheapest room has no window.

Foreign guests: show your passport at check-in
At check-in, hand your passport to reception. Vietnamese law requires any place you sleep to register foreign guests with the local police, so the hotel must see your passport or another valid travel document before accepting you, and you must show it.
The hotel does the paperwork, online or on paper. Paper forms must reach the police within 12 hours, or 24 hours in remote areas; online registration is done as soon as you arrive, and the police can receive it at any hour. It covers hotels, guesthouses and rented houses or apartments, even for one night, so a Biển Hồ homestay and a hotel on the square follow the same rule. The hotel enters your name, nationality, passport number and expected length of stay, and if you move, the next place registers you again.
Local tip: Keep your passport in your hand luggage at check-in, not at the bottom of a suitcase.
